Michael J. Hickey

Mike joined ARCHITECTS BY DESIGN, P.C. in 1992 after receiving his architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 1991. Responsibilities include zoning analysis, site documentation and importation, programming, design, design development, site planning, and construction documents.

Mike has worked on several different project types. These include: new homes of varying sizes, residential additions (from covered front porches to extensive renovations with new levels and facade makeovers), pool cabanas, finished basements, commercial office build-outs, commercial façade renovations, theater renovations, restaurants, trucking facilities.  

Mike assisted the Village of La Grange in reworking their zoning ordinance. Tasks included doing 3D architectural renderings and zoning analysis. He presented the findings to the Village Board at a public hearing.

Mike served as a judge at the Bolingbrook Cavalcade of Homes.

Mike was a past member of the Clarendon Hills Chamber of Commerce.
